Below are videos and step-by-step directions on how to set up cases for Dr. Braxton and how to use / troubleshoot equipment that he commonly uses.

MOR Microscope Setup

  1. Plug the microscope into a RED outlet
  2. Take the HDMI Cable and plug it into the Boom 2n1 panel
    • Make sure to do the loop around the pillar to avoid strain on the hdmi cable during case
  3. Turn ON the microscope from the switch down towards the bottom
  4. Go over to the Nurse Touchpanel and route to the monitors you need

VVSC NEW Microscope

  1. Plug the microscope into a RED outlet
  2. Take the HDMI Cable and plug it into the Boom 2n1 panel
    • Make sure to do the loop around the pillar to avoid strain on the hdmi cable during case
  3. Turn ON the microscope from the switch down towards the bottom
  4. Go over to the Nurse Touchpanel and route to the monitors you need

VVSC OLD Microscope

  1. Plug the microscope into a RED outlet
    • Do this with BOTH of the plugs
    • One of the plugs gives power to the microscope and the other gives power to the camera box
  2. Take the HDMI Cable and plug it into the Boom 2n1 panel
    • Make sure to do the loop around the pillar to avoid strain on the hdmi cable during case
  3. Turn ON the microscope from the switch down towards the bottom
  4. Go over to the Nurse Touchpanel and route to the monitors you need

Setup Quick Checklist

  1. Is Microscope ON?
  2. Is the HDMI plugged in?
  3. Is the video from the scope routed to desired monitors in the room?
  4. Is the C-Arm ready to go?
