CAMERA BOX MOVING

Below are videos and step-by-step directions on how to move and setup the different camera boxes used in each OR.

STRYKER BOX

  1. Check the power cables first
  2. If the boxes are not connecting to each other then make sure the USB cable on the back of each are connected to eachother
  3. Make sure that both accessory cables are plugged in to be able to capture video and images
  4. Check the DVI cable to see if it is plugged into the encoder if there are issues routing to the screens from the touchpanel

Sometimes random cables will get unplugged with these boxes so just be sure to think about what is going wrong and look at the back to check for cables that are unplugged.

ARTHREX BOX

  1. Press the knob to display the settings menu
  2. The Speciality menu will be automatically opened first so just press the knob again to access the color settings
  3. From here you will just move the dial to the various settings until you find one that suits the doctor
  4. Press and hold the knob to exit

SMITH & NEPHEW BOX

  1. Press the "PIP" button on the bottom of the monitor
  2. A menu pops up and then you just move the knob over until you are on "none"
  3. Press and hold the knob to exit

STORZ BOX

  1. Take picture of setup in the back of the box then unplug all of the cables in the back and then move to the room in need
  2. The boxes should be color coded so plugging back in shouldn't be too difficult
  3. The room may have empty cables used for this box but if not then unplug from a different box that is not in use the:
    • DVI or HDMI cable
    • Power Cable
    • Two small Accessory Cables
  4. Follow the cables to see which little encoder box they are coming from and look at front of it to see the name
  5. The name of it is what it is called on the Nurse Touchpanel so go over to the touchpanel and then select the one you choose
  6. It may not be called Storz on the touchpanel, this will depend on the name of the encoder you are using. Just look to see which one it is plugged into and that is what it will be called on the touchpanel.

Common Problems

  • The monitors turn off regularly so make sure to press the power button if you do not see anything on the monitors
  • Just make sure that you have the cables all plugged in that the other boxes are using
  • Look at other rooms to see how it is supposed to look if needed
  • Make sure to route to the AIDA if you need to capture images
