This page provides all the resources you need to use and troubleshoot the printer in MOR 1

SETUP / PAPER / INK

  • Make sure that the printer is ON before printing. Check power cable on the back left side
  • Make sure that the USB cord is connected to the back right side of the printer so it can recieve the printing request from the AIDA
  • Check to see that there is paper in the paper tray in the back
  • Check the ink level by opening the top door and letting the ink cartriges come to the middle
    • SLOW blinking light = LOW on ink
    • FAST blinking light = EMPTY ink REPLACE

If the red light is blinking on the printer that means there is an issue. The pattern of blinks says what the issue could be. See the links below to help diagnose what is wrong with the printer

Autologon Problems

Sometimes the Autologon account will get logged off and there is no password to log back in

  1. Click the Power symbol in the bottom right corner of the screen
  2. Click "Restart" on the menu to restart the computer
  3. Just sit and wait for everything to restart and the autologon account will log in by itself

Music Problems

Sometimes the music will not work and you will have fiddle with the cords that connect to the computer to get it back up and running

  • Check to make sure that the volume is NOT muted on the computer or the nurse touchpanel
  • If that does not solve the problem then look for the BLUE TAGGED cable that is plugged into the back of the computer is seated properly in the BLUE TAGGED aux port
  • If you are still having problems then try getting a new cable from the AV Office to replace the blue tagged one and plug that one in
