Below are videos and step-by-step directions on how to setup / troubleshoot the Monitors that are in the different operating rooms.

MAIN OR MONITORS

MOR Stryker Monitors Color Change

If the colors are looking weird on the monitors then this is the first thing to check to fix the problem

  1. Press the dial button inward to display the menu
  2. Press the button 2 more times to reach the preset settings for color
  3. Rotate the dial right or left to change between color presets until you find one that the doctor likes
  4. Press and hold the button the exit the menu

From this menu you can mess with other settings as well if needed


MOR Stryker PIP / POP Removal

If you have a weird box covering part of the screen then this is how to remove that box

  1. Press the "PIP" button to display the PIP menu
  2. Turn the dial until you reach "off" and then press and hold the dial down to exit the menu

The dial can be a bit finicky sometimes so just play with it and you will figure it out


VVSC MONITORS

Room 1-2 & 5-6 Monitors

  1. To access the menu for these monitors you will press and hold your finger over the power symbol for a few seconds and you will then see the icons appear
  2. From here you can tap any of the icons to bring the menu up on the display
  3. You will then navigate to what you are looking for by using the menu key or the side to side icons

Rooms 3 & 4 Monitors

  1. Make sure that the power light it illuminated blue
  2. You can press the sensor buttons to access the input settings if you need to change the input
  3. You can press the menu sensor button to access the menu and change the presets or other values as needed

Room 3 & 4 Monitor Reset

If the monitor will not work and you have a no signal sign that just moves around the screen then try to do a hard reset. This will reset the Storz equipment as well as the monitors.

  1. Turn off BOTH buttons on the black Storz Brain box under the PACS computer
  2. Wait 30 seconds then turn the buttons back on
  3. As the system is booting up then go over to the nurse touchpanel and unplug the power cable
    • You can unplug the white power cable clip or any other source of power
  4. Plug the touchpanel back in to give power
  5. Once booted up then go over to the monitors and flip the power SWITCH that is on the back under the monitor off then on again to reset
  6. After this process you should be able to route to the monitors again using the touchpanel

Common Problems

  • A monitor will be OFF so just press the power button to turn it back on
  • A monitor could be on the wrong input so change the input
  • A monitor could have the PIP on so just use the menu to take that off of the screen
