DR. VIOLA

Below are videos and step-by-step directions on how to set up cases for Dr. Viola and how to use / troubleshoot equipment that he commonly uses.

SCOPE CASES

S & N Tower Setup (VVSC)

On the VVSC side, Dr. Viola will use the Smith and Nephew tower whereas on the Main Hospital side he will just need a 560 box which are located on all of the booms already so no tower is needed.

  1. Plug the tower into a RED outlet
  2. Turn on the 660 by pressing the power button on the front
  3. Input the following information:
    • First / Last Name
    • MRN
    • Doctor Name
    • Procedure Type
  4. Press either "SAVE" to save the patient to the patient list
  5. Make sure to go to the nurse touchpanel and press BOOM AUX and tap all the screens that you want the scope video routed to
  6. Viola does NOT print unless requested so don't worry about printing anything

Patient Input (Main OR)

  1. Go over to the Aida and input the Patient Information
    • First, Last Name
    • MRN
    • Doctor Name
  2. Turn ON the 560 box that is on the Boom
  3. Go over to the Nurse Touchpanel and route SMITH AND NEPHEW to ALL the screens in the room

Setup Quick Checklist

  1. Is the Patient Information plugged into the Aida or 660?
  2. Is the video from the scope routed to desired monitors in the room?
  3. Is the Mini C-Arm ready to go? (if needed)
