DR. PHILIPPON

Below are videos and step-by-step directions on how to set up cases for Dr. Philippon and how to use / troubleshoot equipment that he commonly uses.

SCOPE CASES

Philippon Tower Setup

  1. Plug in the tower to a RED outlet
  2. Make sure that master switch on the side of the tower is ON
  3. Press the power button on the front of the 660 Box to turn on
  4. On the 660, press "New Patient" and input the patient information
    • First, Last Name
    • MRN
    • Doctor Name
    • Procedure Type
  5. Take the HDMI cable and plug it into the Boom or Wall Aux to route to the desired monitors in the room

Tower Monitor Setup

  1. Press the "Control" button on the bottom right corner of monitor
  2. Press the "Aime" button on the same panel
  3. Turn Aime ON
  4. Press "Aime" again
  5. Press "Control" again to exit out completely

IPad Patient Input

  1. Press the Add Patient icon on the left sidebar
  2. Input the Patient information
    • Fist, Last Name
    • Male or Female
    • MRN #
    • Procedure ID (SAME AS MRN #)
    • Date
    • Procedure Type
  3. Press "Submit"
  4. Look over the info the press "Confirm"
  5. Press the wifi button at the very top left side to connect the IPad to the LENS Box

660 Patient Input

We input the patient's information into this so that way we have two ways to capture images and videos in case anything happens to one method

  1. Press the Add Patient icon on the left sidebar
  2. Input the Patient information
    • Fist, Last Name
    • Male or Female
    • MRN #
    • Procedure ID (SAME AS MRN #)
    • Date
    • Procedure Type
  3. Press "Submit"
  4. Look over the info the press "Confirm"
  5. Press the wifi button at the very top left side to connect the IPad to the LENS Box

End of Case Printing

The IPad's are connected to the printers by the computer in rooms 3 & 4 on VVSC so they will airprint to them following these steps

  1. Press "Edit" the press "Select All"
  2. This will select all images AND videos that were taken
  3. DESELECT any VIDEOS if there are any so that you can generate the Full Report
  4. Press the weird looking 3 dots button and select "Full Report"
  5. Full Report gets generated and select it to view. Press the weird 3 dot button again
  6. Press "PRINT"

Setup Checklist

  1. Is the monitor have AIME ON?
  2. Is the Patient information plugged into the 660?
  3. Is the Patient information plugged into the IPad?
  4. Is the IPad connected via WiFi to the LENS Box?
  5. Is the video from the tower routed to desired monitors in the room?

Post-Case Checklist

  1. Did you get Prints from the Printer in the room?
