DR. PENDELTON

Below are videos and step-by-step directions on how to set up cases for Dr. Pendelton and how to use / troubleshoot equipment that he commonly uses.

ROBOTIC CASES

Aida Setup

  1. Go over to the Aida and input the Patient Information
  2. First Name, Last Name, MRN, Doctor
  3. Turn ON the Stryker boxes that are on the Boom
  4. Go over to the Nurse Touchpanel and route to ALL the screens in the room

Printing Images

  1. Go over to the Aida and press "Finish"
  2. This will automatically print the images for the case

Aida Re-Printing

  1. Select the file cabinet button in top right side of screen
  2. Look for the patient name that you need and select the box on the right left side
  3. Make sure to print with the "Standard" button layout selected

Moving / Setup Storz boxes

  1. Unplug the cables from the back of the storz box in the room you want to move it from. I reccomend snapping a picture of how the cables are plugged in prior to unplugging to aid in re-installation
  2. Put the box on the boom and find a power cable and plug it in
  3. Either attach it to its own Encoder (sticker named storz) or hijack a different one for now. Do this by plugging in the DVI cable on the back of the box into the encoder
  4. Plug in the accessory small cables to allow for video / picture capture
  5. Go over to the nurse touchpanel and route to all of the screens the video from whichever encoder you used. (the name is on the front of it)

Case Setup Checklist

  1. Is the Storz Box on?
  2. Is the patient plugged into the Aida?

Dr. Pendelton does not typically record or take many images so to be safe it is good to input the patient name into the Aida. If he takes pictures then print at the end of the case.

Printer Problem Checklist

  1. Is Printer ON?
    • Make sure light is on and power cord is plugged into the back
  2. Is there paper in the printer?
    • Check the paper holder and get paper if needed
  3. Has the case been ended?
    • Make sure to press "Finish" at the end of the case to send to the printer
  4. Is there a red error light coming from the the button below the power button?
  5. To be continued...
